pure art and soul

A cropped version of a much larger painting. Triggered by a lyric to a Neil Diamond's 'I am... I said'. A song that touches my soul deeply because that sense of being 'lost between two shores' echoes my own feelings. Different places, different shores. The branches are symbolic of the yearning for the distant shores that still feel like home and are part of me but are no longer mine.
